For First Banana Productions' playwriting contest, Three Plays Called Venus in Chains; the company wanted to see what creative minds could dream up given just a title to work with. They've been collecting scripts since September and have picked their favorites for what promises to be a very exciting night of theater.

The production features three new one-acts by local writers representing a wide range of themes and styles: A group of partyers play a sadistic practical joke; the owner of a toy company takes revenge on his cheating wife; two paramecia invent sexual reproduction.
