Baraboo Theatre Guild
Baraboo Theatre Guild has been proudly serving Baraboo and the surrounding communities with live theatre for over 50 years. In addition to its annual Fall musical at the historic AL Ringling Theatre-"America's Prettiest Playhouse", BTG usually performs two dinner theatres a year (one in late January- early February and one in late April-early May) at the Farm Kitchen Restaurant, by scenic Devil's Lake State Park. BTG has also performed radio shows and readings at our local businesses, summer shorts on the Courthouse Square, traveling melodramas to local campgrounds, variety show fundraisers for restoration of the "AL", and many other activities.
BTG believes strongly in working with the youth of our community as well. This has included sponsoring performing and technical theatre workshops, doing joint-productions incorporating the talents of Baraboo High School's students and faculty, working with local children's theatres and giving scholarships to area graduating seniors. We always encourage our young people to try out for our shows as well as learn the ropes in the technical area.
For more information about BTG or how you can be involved, please contact us at the address given above. We are always looking for performers, directors, techies, etc., to join us!
