Pippin - 2013 Broadway Revival

By Schwartz / Hirson

Directed by Tina Lang

This piece is an energetic, contemporary telling of the story of King Charlemagne and his son, Pippin, who’s searching for meaning in life. The story is told by a “troupe of players” and the revival script is more particular about the troupe, identifying them as a group of circus and sideshow performers set in the context of a Big Top.
