Praarthnaa - Prayer

A Bharatanatyam presentation dedicated to the Tsunami victims by Meenakshi Ganesan and the students of the Kalaanjali School of Dance & Music.

Performers: Meenakshi Ganesan and the students of the Kalaanjali School of Dance & Music.

A brief introduction to the Indian Classical dance form called Bharatanatyam will be given, followed by several traditional Bharatanatyam dance performances. The Kalaanjali dancers will then present various folk
and traditional performances from India and the concert will conclude with a "Praarthnaa - Prayer" for the Tsunami victims. There will also be a 30 minutes presentation by Hmong Dancers.
