Lonely Planet

By Steven Dietz

Directed by Joseph Martorella

Who are the people in your life? Meet Jody and Carl. Jody owns a map store where Carl, his most frequent customer and friend, mysteriously hoards chairs. Where do the chairs come from? Why does Carl collect them? To learn the answer is to witness an absurd comedy about isolation and connection, living and dying, the nature of friendship, and the specter of AIDS. Join Jody and Carl and discover a new sense of community on this Lonely Planet.
