The Drawer Boy

By Michael Healey

Directed by Richard Corley

A Madison Premiere. A testament to the power of friendship and storytelling. Two middle-aged farmers, Morgan and Angus, have the routine of their lives disrupted when a young actor comes to live with them. Miles, who is gathering research for a life-on-the-land play that his theatre company is creating, at first spends his days unknowingly laboring at chores dreamed up by the sly Morgan, including washing the gravel stone-by-stone or rotating the already planted crops at 3 a.m. As time goes by, however, Miles stumbles onto a heart-wrenching secret.
