Austin is a young screenwriter, working furiously to make a deal with a film producer. Then his unstabel brother Lee, a drigter and petty thief, appears after three months in the desert. The ensuing power struggle undermines Austin's Hollywood dreams and exposes the comedy, danger, and poignancy of brotherly love.
