Quake

By Melanie Marnich

Directed by Melissa Thompson

Quake is about a woman who goes off in search, ultimately, of herself, but winds up getting a bit lost along the way. At the center of this world is Lucy who begins the play by hearing a voice that tells her to start moving and not stop till she finds the perfect love. She bounces from situation to situation seemingly randomly, but we quickly learn that she is gaining knowladge, gaining wisdom, and also gainging speed on this trip. Her path becomes intertwind with that of a female serial killer, and in an odd, twisted way that jumps between reality and a dream world, they become each other's alter egos, each one pushing the other across the states, across the county. -Melanie Marnich, author
