Misery

By Steven King, adapted for the stage by Simon Moore

Directed By Lance Marsh

A popular romantic fiction novelist crashes his car and regains consciousness in a dilapidated farmhouse nursed by a woman claiming to be his "number one fan."  In the old MTG tradition of offering exciting mysteries and thrillers, MTG is pleased to present the Wisconsin premier of the stage adaptation.  If you found the book thrilling and were blown away by the movie, how about seeing it live in the small, intimate 99-seat Evjue Theatre?

Lance March, a very talented area theater artist was last seen by MTG audiences in our Feb.1999 production of "Someone Who'll Watch Over Me." Lance has worked with many local community theatre groups, and has acted with American PlayersTheatre and The Madison Repertory Theatre. This will be Lance's directorial debut with MTG.

"It makes seats optional.  The audience spent the evening on the edge of theirs," says the London Daily Express.

Produced by Madison Theatre Guild in the Evjue Theatre at the Esquire Theater.
