Why Torture Is Wrong, And The People Who Love Them

By Christopher Durang

Directed by Jennifer Uphoff Gray

The Midwest Premiere, fresh from a sold-out run in New York! From America's leading comic playwright comes this satire about our growing homeland "insecurity." Felicity is a young woman suddenly in crisis: is her new husband a terrorist? Is her father's butterfly collecting really a cover for his involvement in a shadow government? Why does her mother enjoy going to the theater so much - does she seek mental escape, or is she insane?

The New York Times raves, "[Why Torture is Wrong...] tackles and practically tickles to death subjects that are sensitive to the point of rawness just now...It has a healthier heart and conscience than many a more pious play."
