Triangle

By Laurie Brooks

Directed by Diane Lutz

Triangle tells the story of Malena, a teenage girl living on the Lower East Side of New York City who meets Sophie, the ghost of a young girl her same age who tragically died in the famous Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in 1911 - a fire that changed labor laws forever. It was a time in our country when so many came to America seeking the golden door or opportunity, and bridges those same ideals today. It is a play about family, hope and forgiveness.
