"The Snow Queen"

While playing in the town square on his sled, Kai is kidnapped by the Snow Queen and taken to her ice palace north of the Arctic Circle where she keeps him prisoner by freezing his heart. His friend Gerta goes in search of him on a long and perilous adventure, meeting many strange and sometimes comical characters and learning many valuable lessons. Eventually the warmth of her heart thaws Kai's and he returns with her to their warmer homeland.

Auditions will be held on the following days:

There are parts for everyone (grades K-12)in this fun and magical version of Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, "The Snow Queen." Auditions will be very informal, actors will be asked to participate in some improv activities and cold readings from the script.

Auditions will take place at the Sauk Community Center (730 Monroe Street Sauk City, WI 53583).
