By Hans Christian Andersen

Directed by Whitney Beck

While playing in the town square on his sled, Kai is kidnapped by the Snow Queen and taken to her ice palace north of the Arctic Circle where she keeps him prisoner by freezing his heart. His friend Gerta goes in search of him on a long and perilous adventure, meeting many strange and sometimes comical characters and learning many valuable lessons.
