The Rover

By Aphra Behn

Florinda loves Belvile.
Hellena is supposed to love God, but might love Willmore more.
Valeria loves Florinda.
Angellica loves mayhem.
And everybody loves a good costume change.

Welcome to The Rover, a sprawling Restoration Comedy by Aphra Behn, one of the first female English playwrights to win contemporary and lasting fame.

This special theatrical workshop will present one hour of The Rover as a fun, flexible reading. Members of the public are welcome to attend to watch, comment, or participate as readers.

Actors interested in playing a role in the workshop are invited to write to Falconbridge Players for an assignment: contact@falconbridgeplayers.org
