Based on the Victor Hugo novel taking place in 15C Paris and featuring the Academy Award winning songs from the Disney animated feature. The show boasts a darker book by Peter Parnell and new songs by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. This is a very choral-heavy piece.

Auditions will be held on the following days:

(Note: Chicago Actors, there will be a Chicago audition in February but some roles may be cast before then.)

 We are looking for a very diverse range of ethnicity in our actors for a staged concert production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. All roles are paid.

AUDITION LOCATION
Madison Ballet Studios
160 Westgate mall
Madison, WI

CONTRACT
Non-Equity and Equity- LORT D  $583/Weekly. Min.

Roles Available: a multi-ethnic cast of men and women with fantastic singing voices (legit and contemporary) who also act and move very well to play principal and supporting roles. (NOTE: There will be an additional chorus beyond the “ensemble” that will be situated behind the orchestra and will not be staged).

PREPARATION
All auditioners should prepare one contemporary musical theatre song under one-minute in length.  You may be asked to sing a second song.  At least one of these songs should show off your legit voice. (NOTE: Those auditioning for chorus, just sing anything that shows your voice and range). No a cappella singing. An accompanist will be provided.

REHEARSAL DATES
Chorus rehearsals begin late April 2018, one evening a week.
Full cast rehearsals begin May 21st, 2018
