The Drowsy Chaperone
By music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar
Directed by Tommy Lueck
This Milwaukee premiere is bound to be the biggest musical charmer of the season! The fun begins when a die-hard musical theater fan sits onstage and shares his favorite Broadway cast album, the "socko boffo" song and dance extravaganza THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. As the record spins, the musical comes to life in the man's apartment, with characters popping out of the woodwork and sidestepping through his Frigidaire. This joyous Tony Award-winning musical celebration is a love letter to the classic Broadway musical full of eye-popping glitz and stunning surprises!
