The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

By William Finn and Rachael Sheinkin

Directed by John Kelley

Called "irresistible" by the New York Times and "utterly charming" by Time magazine, this Tony Award-winning story of overachievers' angst follows six adolescent outsiders as they compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Even in the throes of puberty, and overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, they learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.
