Stitch, Bitch n’ Die, by Joseph Scrimshaw, an adult-themed comedy murder mystery is produced by Portage Area Community Theatre and directed by Bob Viking. This dinner theater production will be held at the banquet facility at Northwoods Inc., two miles south of Portage on Hwy 51South.
Stitch, Bitch n’ Die celebrates and pokes fun at the crafting arts and takes place at K.U.I (Knitting Under the Influence), a yarn store and wine bar. Lucy, the store owner, and her caustic knitting friends find a fresh target for their bitching when a smug screen writer arrives to interview them about his new “knitting-inspired” murder mystery screen play. But life quickly imitates art when the lights go out and …is found with a knitting needle sticking out of their….. Who is guilty? Who is innocent? Suspicion falls on everyone. And oh yeah, who will finish their scarf first? Be sure to get your reserved ticket in order to find out!
