Marshall Theatrical Productions and the students of Marshall High School are performing the Tony award winning hit Shrek the Musical songs from Jeanine Tesori and a side splitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Based on the hit Dreamworks movie, come join Marshall Theatrical Productions at the Marshall Elementary stage November 14, 15, 16, 17. Shrek the Musical will have you laughing, cheering, and rolling into a “big bright beautiful world” along with Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona.

Director Kat Hoggatt leads a revamped and revitalized theater program in Marshall with this boisterous tail and the talented actors of Marshall. "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.
