Will Shakespeare: poet, and playwright
Kit Marlowe: Will’s colleague, friend, and inspiration
Fennyman: the money
Henslowe: owner and manager of the Rose Theatre
Richard Burbage: lead actor of the Chamberlain's Men
Lord Tilney: the Lord Chamberlain
Viola De Lesseps: Thomas Kent/Romeo/Juliet
Nurse: servant to Viola
Lord Wessex: betrothed to Viola
Ned Alleyn: lead actor of the Admiral's Men
Webster: street urchin and troublemaker
Queen Elizabeth I: the Boss

• Prepare and read or recite a Shakespearian sonnet of your choice (not Sonnet 154!)
• Read scene selections from the play
• Sunday thru Tuesday, January 14-16, 2024
• Two sections each night: 6:30-8 pm, and 8-9:30 pm
• Callbacks Wednesday, January 17, 2024
• The Bartell Theatre, 113 E. Mifflin St. Madison
• Rehearsals begin March 11
• Monday-Thursday 7-10 pm – location TBD
