Shakespeare In the Park 2023

To commemorate William Shakespeare’s death in 1616, we present Shakespeare In the Park: An Anniversary Celebration, a festival of readings and performances.

This anniversary celebration will include readings of three Shakespeare plays:

11:30 AM – The Tempest
2:00 PM – Coriolanus
4:30 PM – As You Like It

Produced by Madison Shakespeare Company at Rennebohm Park Shelter, 115 N. Eau Claire Ave. Madison, WI

Performances: April 22, 2023

Performance Times:
11:30 AM, 2 PM, and 4:30 PM

Park shelter seating will be available, and attendees are also welcome to bring their own seating and blankets. Rennebohm Park is located near Hilldale on Madison’s west side, with an official street address of 115 N. Eau Claire Avenue. It is also bordered by Sheboygan Avenue, Segoe Road, and Regent Street.

This event is free and open to the public.

To sign up as a reader (no experience necessary) please visit madisonshakespeare.org/sitp2023 and sign up on the provided form. Signups will be accepted on a rolling basis but may close at 11:59 PM on April 7 in order to allow sufficient time to assign roles and distribute scripts to participants.
