Tom Mizer, a young teacher, wakes up on his first day of work. As his alarm goes off, Tom enters and begins to rehears his teaching technique. Soon, Tom’s thoughts begin to take life around him. In an attempt to calm himself, Tom turns on the TV. What’s on this morning? Why, it’s Schoolhouse Rock! “A Noun is a Person, Place, or Thing,” “Three is a Magic Number,” “Unpack Your Adjectives,” “Circulation,” “Conjunction Junction,” “Interjections,” and many other songs and dances teach and help us appreciate out education

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Auditions will be Sunday, August 24 at 11:30 Am & Monday, August 25 at 6:30 PM at the SPCT Rehearsal Barn at 500 South Bird Street in Sun Prairie. Auditioners will dance and learn a song from the script. Some will be asked to read. The play contains 12 songs with many opportunities for soloists and feature dancers. This show is an MTI Junior production specifically adapted to be performed by actors from 8 to 18 year of age. If you have questions please contact Director, Livvia Goff 837-4202.
