Neil Simon's "Rumors" is a lighting-fast farce where one very elegant anniversary party goes spectacularly wrong. The host has shot himself. His wife is nowhere to be found. The guests are trying very hard to keep things quiet. Naturally, they make an absolute disaster of it.
