Over The River And Through The Woods

By Joe DiPietro

Directed by Trish Collins

Nick is a really nice Italian-American guy from Hoboken, New Jersey. When Nick’s parents retired and moved to Florida he kind of “inherited” his two sets of grandparents. So, every Sunday “Over the River and Through the Woods” to grandmother’s house he’d go. They were always glad to see him, and he was glad to be there. They kept the house way too hot – “August in Ethiopia hot” according to Nick, but they were FAMILY. In our winter show, the generational differences in thought and attitude between Nick and his grandparents promise to provide a constant stream of hilarious laughter. That’s what this show is all about – a warm, very, very funny close knit family. Just when you think it can’t get any funnier, the grandparents (in order to ensure Nick stays around) decide to invite a pretty young girl over for Sunday dinne
