Moon Over Buffalo
By Ken Ludwig
Directed by Carla Gallun
George Hay and his wife Charlotte are actors on tour in Buffalo in 1953 with a repertory of Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives. Director Frank Capra is en route to catch their matinee performance and, the couple hopes, to cast them in his latest picture. Complications and misunderstandings ensue: Will Charlotte run off with their agent and miss her performance? Will George be sober enough to perform? Will the audience see Cyrano, Private Lives, or a disturbing mixture of both? The Boston Herald described this play as, "nothing less than a love letter to live theatre."
