College sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesn’t take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend, Warner, dumps her for someone serious, Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and heads for Harvard Law School! This fun and fabulous feel good musical comedy is a delightful reminder that being yourself never goes out of style.
Based on Amanda Brown’s 2001 novel and its first film version (starring Reese Witherspoon), the musical stage version hit Broadway in 2007. Overall it has been nominated for seven Tony Awards, and it was awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical in 2011.Seniors Abby Gibson (Elle), Nick Swenson (Emmett), Stephanie Kittleson (Paulette) and Kailee Whitmire (Vivienne) lead the cast, as well as Sean McGlynn (Callahan), Isaiah Rowley (Warner), Gabbi Unitan (Brooke), and Felicia Lawrence (Enid). Elle’s Greek Chorus is played by Clove Rewey (Pilar), Megan Howard (Margot), Natalie Kratz (Serena), Ale Boone-Hermanson, Maggie McNulty, Abbie Shinkle, Anja Royko, JoBeth Kratz, and Carley Wentela.
