MCVD will be exploring the theme of Human Connection, using concepts such as relationships, aging, the life cycle, and the power of community. This theme is broad enough to be accessible to a diverse audience, but will also serve as a statement that motivates others to love their community and to come together to serve one another.

It is the mission of Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company to present original and diverse contemporary-based choreography in order to inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds to appreciate a deeper connection to dance as a visual art-form, while also providing a platform for dancers and other artists to come together for resources, education, events, support, and community.

Company Requirements & Notes:
-Open to male and female dancers ages 18 and up
-Season runs from April to September
-Weekly rehearsals on Sundays 5-8pm plus additional rehearsals to be set at the beginning of the season after casting
-Rehearsals held at A Step Above in Monona, WI
-Performances throughout the summer & fall

Audition Notes: 
-Ladies: Please wear leotard and tights (shorts or a ballet skirt optional)
-Guys: Please wear t-shirt and shorts
-Bare feet recommended but ballet or modern shoes allowed
-Bring an application, dance resume and a head shot (professional photography not needed)
The audition will consist of a contemporary warm up and short combination, as well jumps, turns, and improvisation.
