Hot l Baltimore

By Lanford Wilson

Directed by Sam White

The show takes place in the Hotel Baltimore and draws its title from the cheap hotel's neon marquee with a burned-out letter "e" that was never replaced. "Hot l Baltimore" is about lost and unwanted people living in a doomed and unwanted world. During our day at the hotel we witness a series of conversations and altercations between residents and visitors of the hotel who are contemplating an uncertain future after the hotel is condemned and scheduled for demolition.
