Hamlet by Young Shakespeare Players

Hamlet

By William Shakespeare

Hamlet may well be the single most famous piece of literature ever written. The story of the brilliant prince whose uncle killed his father and married his mother even changed the way we speak and think, with so many now-familiar phrases: "To be or not to be"; "The lady doth protest too much"; "Though this be madness, yet there is method in't"; "Hoist by his own petard"; "To the manner born"; etc., etc. Filled with action, passion, humor, and many, many great characters!

Refreshments, including pizza, bagels, and healthy snacks, are served each night, and the proceeds support tuition assistance.

Produced by Young Shakespeare Players at The YSP playhouse, 1806 West Lawn Avenue, Madison WI
