Subject: Audition for UW Madison’s "Greco-Roman Myths and Mischief, Four Epic Escapades"!

Step into the world of gods, heroes, and classic hijinks with SBR’s upcoming production of "Greco-Roman Myths and Mischief, Four Epic Escapades"! We’re looking for enthusiastic UW Madison actors to join us on this epic journey, packed with wit, adventure, and timeless characters from ancient Greece and Rome.

Audition Details:

Audition Dates: December 9 & 10
Callback Date: December 11
Location: Bartell Theatre
Requirements: Please prepare a one-minute monologue of your choice that captures your unique energy and range.
Casting: 5 male-identifying and 5 female-identifying actors.
Self-tapes will also be accepted upon request, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you can’t make it in person!

Rehearsal Schedule:

Character Study Rehearsals: Starting December 15, providing a chance to dive deeply into your role.
Blocking Rehearsals: Begin in January, kicking off the new year with movement and staging.
Performance Dates: February 21 - March 1, 2025
This is your chance to embody a character from mythic times, exploring ancient stories in a fresh, comedic, and adventurous setting. With character-focused rehearsals and a supportive production team, it’s an exciting opportunity to develop your craft and bring classic tales to life.
