Grease

Directed by DeeDee Bouzek

Grease is the one that you want! Dust off your leather jackets, pull on your bobby-socks and take a trip back to 1959. Danny is the hunky ‘bad boy’ and Sandy is ‘the girl next door.’ They meet and fall in love – but will their different worlds keep them apart? Featuring unforgettable songs including You’re The One That I Want, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted To You, and Greased Lightnin’! The most “electrifyin’” musical extravaganza on stage! Be there or be square!

The favorite teen couple is portrayed by Annie Stuntebeck in the role of the sweet and loveable Sandy, and Jon Klingenberg in the role of Danny the rebellious “bad boy” of Rydell High. Also appearing in this production are Ryan Hansen as “Kenickie,” Jack Ebner as “Eugene,” Emma Goecks as “Patty Simcox,” Alex Kvalheim as “Sonny,” Emily Skavlen as “Marty,” Connor Roisum as “Roger,” Alyssa Wicks as “Frenchy,” Katelyn Curtin as “Rizzo,” Tess Williams as “Jan,” and Eric Augustine as “Doody.” Clove Rewey, Maggie Moll, Molly Caviezel, Stephanie Kittleson, Kailee Whitmire, Reese Bahrke, Nick Swenson, Will Schaaf, Isaiah Rowley, and Joe Heiser lend their talents as additional Pink Ladies and T-Birds to fill the stage with pink and black. An additional 60 member ensemble brings Rydell High to life.

The production marks the inaugural summer production of the newly independent Aligning Stars Theatre Company. In the past, the company, which features current and former students from both Stoughton and McFarland High Schools, performed under the umbrella of the school districts. This summer, led by DeeDee Bouzek, they have become their own entity. This production of Grease features DeeDee Bouzek as stage director, Leo Endres and Kristen Nett as musical directors, Katelyn Curtin and Sami Markle as choreographers, Bryce Sanville as pit conductor, and Cassie Charleston as acting coach.
