"Daddy Long Legs" is a virtual adaption of a stage show with a two-person cast. It is a story about Jerusha Abbot, a poor, teenaged orphan who still lives at the John Grier Home. Intrigued by her writing abilities, an unnamed benefactor decides to fund her college education on the condition that she write to him each month. As time goes by she becomes more curious about his identity. We follow her emergence as a delightfully independent woman and the startling fact that will change her life forever!
