A Christmas Story

By Jean Shepherd, adapted by Philip Grecian

Directed by Mickey Reynolds

A Christmas Story is based on humorist Jean Shepherd's memories of growing up in Indiana in the 1940ís. The story follows 9 year old Ralphie Parker in his quest for a genuine Red Ryder BB gun as a Christmas present. The consistent response: "You'll shoot your eye out." The play is an adaptation of the 1983 motion picture of the same name, and includes all the humor and antics of the film.
