Chaucer's Troilus and Cressida- Cancelled

By Geoffrey Chaucer, adapted by A. S. Kline

O blind world! O blind intention!

Geoffrey Chaucer’s “Troilus and Criseyde” provided the inspiration and template for Shakespeare’s infamous “problem play” of wartime lovers Troilus and Cressida. Falconbridge Players presents a dramatic reading of Chaucer’s epic tale of Trojan romance and intrigue, updated for modern English by A. S. Kline.

Troilus’s double sorrow for to tell.

Produced by Falconbridge Players at the City of Madison Police Department’s Midtown District Station, 4020 Mineral Point Rd.

Performances: March 16, 2020
