Becky Shaw
By Gina Gionfriddo
Directed by Micheal Herman
In this dark, “romantic” comedy, a newlywed couple fixes up two friends on a blind date. When the evening takes a dark turn, the four characters reveal new – and unwelcome – aspects of their personalities.
After premiering at the 2008 Humana Festival in Louisville, "Becky Shaw" went on to a Broadway run. The New York Times called it "as engrossing as it is ferociously funny, like a big box of fireworks fizzing and crackling across the stage from its first moments to its last."
