A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play

La Crosse Community Theatre returns to WBFR studios as the Dickens masterpiece A Christmas Carol comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials, sound effects and music! On Christmas Eve, three ghosts take Ebenezer Scrooge on a magical journey to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. This charming take on the holiday classic will leave no one saying, "Bah, Humbug!"

La Crosse Community Theatre will hold auditions for their holiday show, A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play October 17-18, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Weber Center for the Performing Arts, 428 Front Street South, La Crosse, WI. Open Auditions for ages 8 and up will be held Monday and Tuesday evening, and callbacks will be held on Wednesday, October 19.

First-time auditionees are welcome, with no experience necessary. There are 12 roles available for men, women and children.

Performances are Thursdays through Sundays, December 8-18, 2016. The cast list will be announced on the morning show of WXOW on Friday, October 21, as well as online and on the stage door. The first cast meeting will be Monday, October 24, at 6:30 pm, at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts. Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Mondays through Fridays.
