Rebel Alliance Theatre
Rebel Alliance Theatre is a grassroots organization composed of volunteers sharing time, knowledge and money to support a common dream. Our name sounds like a contradiction but actually tells a lot about us; Rebel Alliance - we dare to come together to support a radical idea. We believe that a theatre should be a learning place, one which encourages social awareness and is affordable and accessible to all.
Everyone involved with Rebel Alliance is here on a volunteer basis. We all hold jobs, are full-time students or both. No one profits economically. We believe that everyone involved profits psychologically, emotionally and mentally; these are great awards in themselves..
We provide an alcohol and drug free, safe environment where youth can learn and study their craft. All members of our theatre are expected to uphold certain roles of conduct and ethics. We expect no less than the best at all times from all involved with the theatre. Encouraging to reach for the stars is important: discovering and going beyond our own personal limitations is a necessity in today's world. We encourage our older members to serve as mentors to our youth.
We have an open door policy allowing the general public to audition and/or volunteer. This allows all interested involvement in all levels of a production.
To produce a high quality live theatre in a wide variety of genres, themes and forms is not enough: we hope to break down barriers and work toward a celebration of our diversity
Enjoy a unique theatre experience in the beautiful and historic Omro Wedding Chapel. Rebel Alliance Theatre invites you to join with us to celebrate community and support the arts in the Fox Valley Area. We'll see you at the show!
