Cinderella

Directed by W. Earle Smith, Artistic Director

Don't miss Madison Ballet's all-new performance of the timeless favorite Cinderella. This premier production will feature Genevieve Custer - Oakland Ballet, as Cinderella, and David Bier - San Francisco Opera, as Prince Charming. The two guest artists will dance alongside a cast 90 talented local dancers. Madison Symphony Orchestra will perform live for both performances under the direction of Grammy award winner John DeMain. Cinderella will feature historic costumes commissioned by noted Native American prima ballerina Maria Tallchief and designed by Russian Žmigr³ Barbara Karinska for Balanchine's New York City Ballet. Sets and costumes were acquired from Texas Ballet Theatre through a generous contribution from Tom and Janet Plumb. Other title sponsors include American Girl's Fund for Children, WI Capitol Management, Charter Communications, Stephan & Brady Inc.
