Alice in Wonderland

A Musical by Ken Lonnquist, based on the writings of Lewis Carroll

Directed by Paul Milisch; Music Direction by Thomas Kasdorf

One of the three productions of Madison Theatre Guild's 1946 inaugural season was an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's immortal work Alice in Wonderland. For more than twenty of The Guild's sixty years, Ken Lonnquist has been entertaining and educating Wisconsin youth with hundreds of original songs. As part of a mission to involve all ages of the community in Community Theatre, we are extremely proud to open our 60th season and celebrate Madison's 150th birthday with the world premiere of Alice in Wonderland with a marvelous book, beautiful music and unforgettable lyrics, all by native son, Ken Lonnquist, based on the writings of Lewis Carroll. We are confident that, regardless of your age, you'll enjoy taking this musical journey through the looking glass with Alice, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and all of Lewis Carroll's timeless characters.
