Once Upon A Mattress

The lighthearted fairy tale The Princess and the Pea is recaptured in this zany, madcap musical adaptation. Prince Dauntless the Drab is in search of a bride and the entire kingdom must suffer the queen's wrath until he is wed. But Princess Winnifred the Woebegone is not exactly what the queen had in mind. The two butt heads in this screwball comedy that features riotously funny subplots and whimsical songs that will have you rolling in your seat. ONCE UPON A MATTRESS is the show that made Carol Burnett a star, and it is one rollicking good time that translates beautifully from generation to generation. The costumes are elegant and the sets are enchanting. It has everything you've come to expect in a Broadway musical, most importantly a "happily ever after."
