Atlas Improv Co.

Atlas Improv Company performs free-form improv comedy Saturday nights at the Electric Earth Cafe, 546 West Washington Avenue. Show times are 8 pm, tickets are $6 and may be purchased at the door or reserved with a credit card. All classes meet downtown at the Mifflin Street Arts Center, 416 West Mifflin St., Madison. Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, please contact Atlas Improv Co. at 608-259-9999 or info@atlasimprov.com.

Parking is available. Classes are taught by Atlas performers and kept small for optimum attention and learning.

We can take your registration over the phone with a credit card, or in person at our shows. Payment is non-refundable and must be received to guarantee a spot in the class. Registration is processed on a first come, first served basis, and class sizes are limited.

Level I - Introduction to Improvisation - starts 2/5/09

This class is a general introduction to improvisation, with a focus on scene work. You'll acquire a solid understanding of what makes scenes work, and prepare for a final performance for family and friends. No previous experience necessary.

Level II - Improvisational Techniques - starts 2/4/09

Picks up where Level I left off, going further into scene study and technique, character development, and improv philosophy. Atlas Improv Level I required. This class ends in a performance.
