Winnie the Pooh

Lyrics by A. A. Milne, Music by Allan Friedman, adapted by Kristen Sergel

Directed by Kjerstie Johanson, Artistic Director

Milne's poetry provided the basis for most of the lyrics of this musical that will enchant audiences. Winnie-the-Pooh, the famous bear of Very Little Brain, is singing happily that "Isn't it funny how a bear likes honey," when the "terrible" trouble begins. Kanga comes to the forest with soap for baths and spoonfuls of Strengthening Medicine! Something must be done!

MadCAP produced "A Winnie the Pooh Birthday Tail" in the Bartell Theatre in December of 2006. It was met with great delight and joy, and we are thrilled to bring these characters to life again on stage in a different story.
