Typhoid Mary & Patient Zero
By Danielle Dresden
Directed by Coleman
This original play juxtaposes true stories of “Typhoid Mary” (Mary Mallon) in the early 20th century and the AIDS epidemic of the late 20th century with an imagined outbreak of the near future to explore how attitudes towards infectious diseases reveal social values, and how social values shape responses to infectious diseases.
