Twelfth Night

By Shakespeare

Directed by Richard and Anne DiPrima

Madison's Young Shakespeare Players is presenting Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. There are several casts. Bring your family and friends of any age! It’s free, but we guarantee you’ll be delighted with the quality our group delivers.

Here's a brief description of the play: Twelfth Night has been called "the most /nearly perfect happy comedy ever written.” It is one of Shakespeare's finest and most inventive works, filled with music, mistakes, love, disguises and practical jokes and throughout, an unforgettable haunting, lyrical beauty.

YSP is a nationally acclaimed program with 25 years experience in bringing together young people to perform full-length Shakespeare plays or, in our workshops, complete scenes from Shakespeare's best loved works. Participants range in age from 7 to 18 years old. There are no "auditions." Anyone of approximately the right age may register and will receive one or more speaking roles.
