The Thornton Wilder you've never seen, along side new companion works with themes and methods used by Wilder.

Early short plays by Thornton Wilder, some not published until 1998: Pullman Car Hiawatha; The Rivers Under the Earth; The Unerring Instinct; The Drunken Sisters; & The Angel on the Ship.

New short plays by local playwrights: Dry Spell by Philip Heckman; Remembrance by Nick Schweitzer; Thorn’s Wild West by R. Thomas Wilson; & Pie in the Sky by Samuel White. Adult language and situations, but suitable for teens and some pre-teens.

Features recorded music by Thistle & Thorns, and Thursday-Sunday, November 14-17, Thistle & Thorns will play a live music pre-show (during the ½ hour of audience seating before the plays begin). Don’t miss this provocative and powerful singer / song writer / musician, Thistle, accompanied by keyboards and upright bass.

A Talk Back will also follow the Friday, November 8 and Sunday, November 17 performances. This project is funded in part by a grant from the Madison Arts Commission, with additional funds from the Wisconsin Arts Board.

Performance Times: 7:30 pm Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, November 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23. Sunday, 3 pm, November 17 (only).

Ticket Prices: $18, with $15 discount performances, & students & seniors. Opening performance Friday, November 8, is free and open to the public (up to seating capacity of approximately 90). Advanced tickets for the free performance will be available only through special distribution to community organizations.
