The Miracle Worker

By William Gibson

Directed by Sharilyn Sailing

The play explores a period of a few weeks in the early life of Helen Keller and her new teacher Annie Sullivan. Annie believes that the key to opening the mind of Helen is to give her language. The struggle is how to reach a girl who is blind and deaf, and whether she will have the time and ability to do just that.

A heartwarming, yet intense drama, "The Miracle Worker" provides a lesson in perseverance.
