Schoolhouse Rock Live!

Directed by Michele Gerard Good

Inspired by the Emmy-award winning, Saturday morning TV cartoon icon, which aired from 1973 to 1985, the Laboratory Theatre’s production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! takes this successful and acclaimed educational powerhouse, and makes it fresh and uniquely Madison with special appearances by famous national, state and local figures augmenting the stage production. Audience participation is strongly encouraged in sing-alongs, counting games and 20 lucky audience members will be seated on stage and asked to become a “part of the show” as characters, playing hide and seek, or holding up signs. Fun for all ages promised – all while learning that “knowledge is power”!
