Oliver!

Cameron Mackintosh's new London version of the Tony Award-winning musical theatre classic brings the streets of Victorian England to life as the orphaned Oliver escapes to London and joins Fagin's band of pickpockets and thieves. This show is filled with memorable songs like "Where is Love?," "Consider Yourself," "As Long As He Needs Me," and "Pick a Pocket or Two"

Auditions

The Eau Claire Children's Theatre will hold auditions for the upcoming production of OLIVER! February 6 & 7 at 7:00 p.m. at ECCT, 1814 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire.

Those interested in a lead role should prepare a 30-60 second cutting from any Broadway or Disney song. You may use piano, CD or electronic device accompaniment. You may not sing a cappella. Those interested in a Chorus role may prepare an audition song or sing a familiar song like "Happy Birthday." There will be no dance audition.

Roles are available for 16-20 boys ages 8-14 including Oliver, the Artful Dodger and Fagin's band of pickpockets. Roles available for 7 males and 6 females ages high school to Adult including Fagin, Bill Sykes, Mr. Brownlow, Mr. and Mrs. Sowerberry, Nancy and Bet as well as a large singing and dancing ensemble. There are no roles or chorus spots available for girls under the age of high school. Four performances are scheduled April 6-9 at The State Theatre.
