Lucia di Lammermoor

By Gaetano Donizetti

Directed by Michael J. Scarola

In its much anticipated Madison Opera premiere, Gaetano Donizetti’s spectacular showcase for vocal artistry features a plot filled with tragic love, family feuds, and the most recognized mad scene of all opera. Set in Scotland in the 1700’s, Madison Opera’s production features Metropolitan Opera conductor John Keenan, leading an international cast including Luz del Alba, Robert Breault, Quinn Kelsey, and Madison favorite, Kyle Ketelsen. Michael Scarola (Rigoletto ’06) returns to direct the production.
