Beware, evil-doers! Lightning Ð protector of the cosmos Ð is here, and he hasn't a single clue how to stop you from taking over the world in Broom Street Theaters super-outrageous new comedy ÔDork Side of the MoonÕ, presented live and in Technicolor!

'Dork Side of the Moon' is a fast-paced comedy-fantasy about a man named Scott Anthony who as a child dreamed of becoming a superhero, but now at 30 finds the pressures of reality trapping him in a world of the mundane - a job he hates, a house that's falling apart, and two cats who relish in their
destructive behavior of everything in their path.

When his best friend Corey launches a probe to the moon in order to win a Google contest worth 25 million, things take a strange turn as Scott, Corey and Scott's ex love, Raven, suddenly find themselves stranded on the moon dressed like superheroes from ScottÕs childhood Ð all the while battling Ping the Preposterous and his evil advisor, KayÕRoh - bent on controlling the universe - and the Earth, too!

Broom Street Theater playwright and director Brian Wild (The DumbAss, Flowers for Dubya, A Very Bitchy Christmas) returns to his roots with this hilarious and delightful comic romp, tapping deep into the hidden geek that resides within us all.

ÒEverything I needed to learn about life, I learned from comic books and Star TrekÕ, laughs Wild. The family-friendly show explores the nature of what it means to be a hero in todayÕs topsy-turvy world, all the while paying homage to science fiction and fantasy conventions of the past - with hilarious results.
