Disney's Beauty and The Beast

By Linda Woolverton, Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice

Directed by Mickey Reynolds

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. A beautiful and magical story that will entertain all ages!

Auditions will be held on the following days:

Auditions will be held at St. Bernard Parish Center and Theatre at 2438 Atwood Ave. in Madison and will begin at 6:00 PM. People will be seen in the order that they arrive.
Please prepare a song no longer than on minute. Choose something you know well. Best choices would be a selection from any Disney Alan Menken musical or movie, including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Newsies, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Home on the Range, Enchanted, and Tangled, among others. Songs from Beauty and The Beast are fine. We will provide an accompanist but please bring your sheet music with you. Please, no a cappella songs or recorded accompaniments.
After you sing, the Choreographer will teach you a short dance combination to audition with. Please come prepared to dance.
